LA Times, Front Page!
So, in the legendary song "Boyz N The Hood," it is mentioned that someone was killed in a ghetto fashion, and that this killing made the front page of the Los Angeles times. I decided to carefully sift through all the editions of the "Times" from around the time the song came out, and found the issue he mentioned.
It's a fascinating snapshot of LA during the mid-1980s.
